Diving the reefer

Hello Folks,. well as i was just typing earlier before my computer decided to randomly shut itself off..... I did some diving on the great barrier reef, no big deal..... ill let that sink in for a bit here......

So yeah took this boat out with a company named Tusa, not a bad trip it takes about 1.5 hours to get out there.
We went out in a group of about 6 or 7 and 2 guides, one of which it was his first day on the job. So i buddied up with some guy from sydney and we went around this small portion of reef, saw a huge clam like maybe the size of my torsoe. and as well some clown fish and anemones, or nemos for those who enjoyed finding nemo not that ive watched that childs cartoon i mean....

we also managed to go through a cave and out the other side of this huge reef which was cool but also a little concerning. mom no worries it was completely safe....

After about 30 minutes since im an air hog i had to head up and get back on the boat as my tank was nearly on empty. We then indulged in some lunch and tim tams. which are delightful and i dont even like chocolate but these things are great.

We then moves about 100meters to another reef and did a second dive, i also forgot to mention like i had in my previous attempt at a blog that i rented a camera to take underwater photos. though you wont see any pics until im back in austria or canada and have access to a decent computer as these ones lack cd drives and turn off randomly, oh but they beep for about 5 seconds just enough time to make you wonder whose comp is making the noise and have your ear up to the speaker and then have your screen g blank and loose everything.. not that im bitter or anything..
SOOO we then embarked on a second dive about an hour and a half later where there was a huge mauri wrasse chillin under our boat which was pretty cool as well as some other huge fish and people would toss food into them and they would litterally be right in arms reach which is cool but a little scary at the same time. We then went around checking things out for a good while around the reef, and i was doing well on the air until the last 2 minutes of my dive where i couldnt get my ears to equilize and i told the new guy (through hand signals) who worked with the company my ears were messed and he kinda just shrugged his shoulders so then i was gettin worried cuz this guy wasnt doing anything but shrugging. Upon talking to him later on the boat he was apparently having ear problems too and was like yeah donno whats up so he shrugged at me then a few seconds later he was like ohhhhh right im working his ears probably hurt so we went up a bit and then our ears popped at the same time and we were good to go but in that time i had paniked and used up lots of air so had to go up anyways.

So sorry there wont be any pics up yet for you guys but soon enough there were some doosies so just wait
Cheers
Stay Precious
Bob
